Summary

What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, dynamic and dedicated Teacher of Psychology to join our collaborative and flourishing department. Our ideal candidate will be a specialist in Psychology, who can teach excellent dynamic lessons, incorporating a wide range of ICT within their skill set. The ability to teach Psychology to GCSE and A Level is essential. We are also currently advertising for a part-time teacher of Religion, Philosophy & Ethics and we welcome applicants that may be able to offer a combination of both of these subjects up to a combine 0.8 part-time hours.

The successful candidate will be very well supported in what is a strong and well-resourced department and the role provides the opportunity to take the lead on new initiatives and extra-curricular activities, as appropriate.

Informal visits to the school are encouraged. We would also be happy to discuss the school and the role in more detail via a phone conversation. Please contact Simran Sahota (Executive Assistant) to arrange this, by emailing s.sahota@qmgs.merciantrust.org.uk

Applications should be made using the application form available from the Mercian Trust Recruitment Portal accompanied by a supporting statement of no more than two sides of A4 in which you should set out how your experience and expertise match the requirements of the role.
