Summary


The Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust has a dynamic cardiology team with a clear vision for its patients and the future development of this specialist service.

A period of post registration experience in an acute setting is required but we will provide you with access to post registration education to support your cardiology career. We provide in-house training and have cardiology specific competencies to help our staff demonstrate their professional progression.

Our elective service runs Monday to Friday, and our emergency service extends out of hours to support our highly successful Heart Attack Service (Primary PCI) and emergency pacing.

The post holder will provide support for Cath Lab patients in the pre and post procedure environment including inpatients. They willprovide assistance to the IRCU- Cardiology staff in the pre-operative and post-operative cleanliness and maintenance of medical equipment for functionality and actively provide assistance in the operating room with the safe positioning to and from the operating table as well as clean and prepare TOE room. The post holder will be responsible to help maintain a safe environment, and assist as directed to care and move equipment, supplies, blood and specimen products, and pharmacy items.
