Summary
To undertake a comprehensive assessment of patients including those with diverse or complex presentations/multi pathologies. Use advanced clinical reasoning skills and manual assessment techniques to provide an accurate diagnosis, recognising that this will take place in a ward or home setting. To be responsible for the teaching, supervision and co-ordination of more junior physiotherapists, students (when present), assistants, technical instructors, and clerical staff and on a daily basis. Undertake the rotational appraisal of these staff groups. To comply with the organisational and departmental policies and procedures and to be involved in the reviewing and updating as appropriate.
