Due to an expansion of our housing services, we are seeking applications from people who have a passion for young people and the desire to see them progress and thrive.

Is that YOU?

YMCA are looking for experienced individuals, with the motivation to see young people thrive, to join our dynamic and supportive housing team. These people will support our Housing Services Manager to ensure the provision of high-quality, person-centred support to our residents.

The role will include but will not be limited to:

• Engaging with young people identifying their passions and aspirations and helping to remove any barriers which will prevent them achieving their full potential.
• Conducting interviews with applicants, performing the appropriate needs and risk assessments and reference checks before offering accommodation.
• Identifying the young people’s personal needs and supporting them in addressing those needs with support from relevant agencies.
• Managing a caseload of young people providing housing and tenancy related support.
• Ensuring minimal vacancies by promptly arranging cleaning and preparing flats to be re-let as quickly as possible.
• Visiting properties as agreed, to ensure safety, overall good condition, and residents’ adherence to the licence agreement.

The ideal candidate will be tech-savvy, approachable and interested in young people and adept at prioritising tasks efficiently. You'll need to adapt to changing priorities while maintaining a commitment to delivering quality housing services. Excellent communication skills are a must, as you'll collaborate effectively with a diverse range of agencies.

If this is YOU, and you want to learn more about this role and the work of the YMCA, before you make an application please contact:
