An exciting opportunity has arisen to play a key role in the delivery of Technology Enabled Care (TEC) across the Clackmannanshire & Stirling Health & Social Care Partnership area. We are looking for motivated individuals (2 posts) that have strong organisational and interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with others.

The Analogue to Digital TEC Switchover Project will involve the replacement of all of the current analogue telecare equipment within supported people’s homes and replace it with new digital equipment during the 18 months of the project. The equipment to be installed can be described as ‘easy install’ or ‘plug and play’ and does not require specialist trades skills or experience to install. You will however be required to use ladders and basic hand tools to install the equipment. Naturally, you will be sufficiently fit and able to carry out the range of installation tasks without assistance. Full training and guidance will be provided to the successful applicants. We expect the role would particularly suit those applicants with an interest in DIY and home improvements.

The post holder will work with the Programme Manager, the wider TEC team and the call handling team to ensure accurate information is updated to a variety of IT systems so you will be required to have the appropriate IT and administration skills to complete those tasks. Although you will not be providing care routinely, you will be working in vulnerable person’s homes and therefore you will be expected to provide assistance and appropriate care within your training and competency when required. It is therefore essential that you possess good communication skills and can provide excellent levels of customer service to our customers, their families and your colleagues.

The Clackmannanshire & Stirling HSCP working in partnership with Clackmannanshire Council and Stirling Council recognise this project as the foundation of a modern, responsive and sustainable service which enables supported people to live full and positive lives within supportive communities.

Requirements

The successful candidate will be required to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for Adults. If your application is progressed after the interview, you will be invited to complete the application and have your details verified.

We encourage applications from the right candidates regardless of age (restrictions apply to Modern Apprenticeships), disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, belief or race.

Please note, if you are a Stirling Council employee you will be taken to Single Sign On to apply. If you are an external applicant, you may need to register and complete your details on our new Recruitment System - Oracle.
