£55,000 - £58,000 per annum FTE, pro rata for 24 hours

As part of our ongoing commitment to the safety and wellbeing of staff and those who engage with the Royal Opera House, we are in the process of expanding our in-house Occupational Health Service. Supported by the ROH Benevolent Fund, our aim is to deliver best practice OH services and ensure the ROH is a great place to work, where staff are enabled to achieve their full potential.

To spearhead this service, we are seeking an experienced professional who will provide a comprehensive, proactive, and impartial Occupational Health advisory service to employees and managers as well as leading a small OH team.

Our ideal candidate will be able to quickly develop a reputation as a trusted advisor across the organisation, leading an inclusive and responsive service and fostering a collaborative work environment where all team members can thrive. They will also be able to demonstrate:

An Occupational Health diploma or degree and experience as a registered General Nurse (NMC registered).Strong clinical experience and previous management experience in the OH sector.Competency in all aspects of sickness absence case management.An understanding of health and safety compliance relevant to the ROH and working within a performing arts context.A clear ability to make decisions and plan in the short and medium term.Accuracy in information recording and management and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality in sensitive situations.
