Are you passionate about occupational health and safety? Do you want to work for a leading company that values your skills and expertise? If so, UK Power Networks has an exciting opportunity for you as an Occupational Health & Safety Manager.

As an Occupational Health & Safety Manager, you will report to the Head of Health and Safety and work within HSS & Connections Health and Safety Team based in our London office. You will manage a team of Health & Safety Advisors and contribute to the management of all our occupational safety risks and appropriate controls. You will also liaise with important partner groups, monitor legislative changes, support senior management with investigations, maintain and develop safety policies and procedures, and participate in relevant committees and panels.

You will be the authority on occupational safety compliance in UK Power Networks and help us achieve our 'beyond zero' safety vision and lead a step change improvement in our journey from 'Good to Great' safety performance.

To be successful in this role, you will need a degree or equivalent in Engineering or Occupational Health and Safety, leading to Corporate Membership of IOSH. You will also need construction and leadership experience in an engineering environment, excellent communication skills at every level, and the ability to challenge existing thought processes and standards.
