About the people we support:

We support 1 lady and 2 gents in their late 60s to early 70s, they have profound learning disabilities, don't communicate with words, and can sometimes display behaviours of distress. They love Hydrotherapy, sensory rooms and eating out.

They have learning disabilities and we're supporting them to live independently within their own home.

Calm and reliable support workers would be a wonderful match for these individuals.

What will I be doing?

- Day to day you will be supporting them to live their lives how they choose & to achieve their goals.

- You will be supporting with medication, health appointments, cooking, shopping, accessing social events and general running of their home. Aspects of supporting with personal care and moving and assisting will be required.

With some of the people we support, they can experience behaviours of distress, so previous experience supporting people with autism and complex behaviours is essential

.

What shifts are available?

Day Shifts: 9am - 5pm
Day Shifts: 9am - 8pm
Long Day Sleep shifts: 9am - 9am the following day
Sleep-in Shifts - Paid at £45 per shift
We're looking for people with flexibility to work on a rota basis that includes weekdays and weekends.
Rotas are provided at least 4 weeks in advance to allow a healthy work life balance- something we're passionate about!
