TeacherActive is proud to be working with a residential provider in the Durham area who are looking for a Residential Support Worker / RSW. The successful applicant will be working with adults ranging from 18 to 65 years old who have been diagnosed with complex learning disabilities.
We are looking for a Residential Support Worker / RSW that have previous experience or qualifications in assisting and caring for adults with learning disabilities. The residential home provides around the clock support for the individuals within the home working shifts from 8 to 14 hours. You will be providing support for the residents in their everyday life and assisting them with personal care when needed.
The successful residential support worker / RSW will have:
• Experience of working in a residential home or have relevant qualifications.
• De-escalation training is desirable but not essential.
• Experienced in personal care
• ‘Can-do’ attitude
• Flexibility with shifts
