Primary Teacher - Support for Learning - Fixed Term until 26/06/2025
Forthview Primary School

Salary: £32,217 - £48,516 (pro-rata for part time)
Hours: 23.10 (3 days per week)

Forthview is primary school in the heart of Pilton with over 400 pupils and 64 nursery. We aim to provide our children with learning experiences of the highest quality in a positive and caring environment, where everyone can feel happy, confident, and valued. We are committed to working in partnership with our parents and members of our learning community to ensure that our children achieve our vision for them ‘to be the best they can be.’

ForthviewPrimary School seeks to appoint a highly motivated teacher to join our Support for Learning team working 3 days per week, to complement and support classroom learning and teaching in order to meet all our children’s needs.

Salaries will be in accordance with the Scheme of Salaries and Conditions of Service for Teaching Staff in School Education.

This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check. An unconditional offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of both these pre-employment checks being deemed satisfactory.
