TU Online Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of Teesside University with a dedicated focus on providing flexible online learning opportunities across a range of Teesside University courses.

TU Online Ltd is looking for an Online Tutor, whose specialist expertise lies within electrical engineering, to deliver high quality teaching, assessment and feedback on undergraduate courses in this area.

You will make contact with all students to welcome them to TU Online and will be their first point of contact for module and study related advice and support. In addition to providing online tuition and assessment you will also identify individual student needs, facilitate study groups and will implement appropriate interventions for students who fail to submit assignments.

Successful applicants will hold at least a Masters or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or closely related field. A qualification in Project Management would also be desirable. Successful applicants will have experience in electric drives, industrial electronics, power systems, sustainable systems and industry 4.0

You must be committed to student-centred learning with an appreciation of how adults learn and will have the ability to work with students from diverse educational, cultural and work backgrounds. Strong IT skills are essential as are good communication skills and a willingness to take part in live online events.
