Requirements for the role of Senior Nurse (RGN):
- You must have a Registered Nurse Qualification (RGN)
- Valid NMC Pin
- Clear DBS
- Good knowledge of the most up-to-date clinical practices and CQC regulations

The role of a Senior Nurse within the Nursing Home involves:
- Providing management and leadership to the Nursing and Care team
- Ensuring that the care, welfare, and safety of all residents is of the highest possible standard.
- Carrying out assessments and evaluations
- Create person-centred care plans and update accordingly.
- Liaising with external governing bodies and agencies
- Ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements in recode keeping, documentation and health and safety.
