The Governing Body wish to appoint a Progress Coach to work at Ysgol Nantgwyn to complement our existing team for a minimum of one term to cover maternity leave..
We are seeking a highly committed and enthusiastic practitioner who can support predominantly with lower and middle school-age pupils however is comfortable across the 3-16 age range of our school. The successful candidate will:
enjoy a challenge and has the determination to make a difference in providing the best for all children
establish good working relationships with children, acting as a positive role model
have high expectations of achievement and behaviour
have good interpersonal skills and be able to work flexibly and constructively as part of a strong team
be committed to supporting the well-being of pupils, demonstrating empathy and warmth
possess a sound understanding of the Curriculum for Wales
be able to appreciate and support the role of other professionals
be prepared to participate in professional development and training opportunities
be able to work under the direction of the class teacher to ensure high quality learning takes place
always ensure confidentiality and adhere to school policies and procedures
