Summary

Cadwyn is a community housing association based in Cardiff. We are a diverse business with experience in social housing management and development, social lettings, market lets and sales, commercial regeneration and an amazing recycling project.

Our NuLife project has been incredibly busy over the last year delivering much needed services to people across Cardiff and we are expanding our team. Our purpose is to support people in creating a home by offering repurposed furniture and some new equipment to help settle them into their new tenancy. To support this, we also accept donations of furniture and sell other items to the general public in order to fundraise to support vulnerable people.

Our aim is to prevent homelessness, reduce waste and offer volunteer and training opportunities to people whilst doing so.

You’d join a small team with a big heart and a lot of determination to make a difference! There’s a lot of exciting opportunities ahead for the project and if you’re interested in helping others, have great people skills and enjoy working within a team, then we really want to meet you!

What we offer:
The chance to work for an organisation with strong values: Kindness, Honesty, Fairness and Respect
A great temporary part time opportunity, with a working week of 18 hours
25 days holiday per year (increasing to 30 with length of service), plus bank holidays pro rata
Agile and flexible working opportunities
Ongoing training and development at a pace to suit you
Access to a great Pension Scheme
Medicare health cash plan
Health and wellbeing support
An annual flexible cash benefit
A cycle to work scheme

We need someone with:
Experience of working within the voluntary sector
Experience of working within a diverse community
Experience of managing and supporting individuals
Knowledge/experience of developing action plans and measuring outcomes
The ability to inspire and motivate others
Good organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workload.
The ability to organise profile raising events and be an ambassador for and promote NuLife and Cadwyn
