Summary

            

Are you customer focused, confident and logical with excellent communication skills?



Grange Property Management are looking for a Visiting Scheme Manager to look after our properties at Brodie Place – Eastbourne. With a ‘can do’ attitude you’ll prioritise and manage your own workload independently.



This is a varied and customer facing role supporting residents in maintaining their well-being and independence. Lone working you’ll have support from your Regional Manager and Head Office Team along with a Training and Support Assistant.



Organised and able to work on multiple tasks, you’ll have a good understanding of building maintenance as you’ll be responsible for the general management of the building including organising repairs and maintenance of communal areas as well as to the structure of the property.  You’ll also manage contractors including weekly cleaning, gardening and bi monthly window cleaning.



You’ll be an excellent communicator who enjoys working closely with people from all backgrounds, able to develop and nurture good working relationships with residents, contractors and clients.



As the first point of contact for any resident complaints, leasehold enquires or property alterations you’ll be able to advise and empathise with the resident age group which is typically 60 plus.



A good standard of IT knowledge and understanding is an important factor within the Scheme Managers role, you will be required to use applications such as Outlook and Word.

This is a scheme of 30 Leaseholder retirement flats consisting of 1 & 2 bedrooms, built in the late 80’s for residents over 60 years of age.



There are lovely gardens a communal lounge and laundry room.



Eastbourne's oldest village in the heart of town features a 12th century pub, St Mary's Church, Pilgrims House, independent shopping streets and the pretty Manor Gardens and Motcombe Park and Lake. Visit plaques commemorating noted residents and visitors including Tommy Cooper in Motcombe Lane and Charles Dickens at Pilgrims House in Borough Lane.



There are good bus and rail routes to Brighton and beyond, with the sea front only 15 minutes away
