If so look no further, as Arcus FM are recruiting for a building fabric apprentice to join our facilities maintenance team.

  • Salary: £18,927 per annum (year 1) & £21,452 per annum (year 2)

The successful candidate will learn what good looks like for pre-planned and reactive fabric maintenance tasks through the guidance of your mentor, learning skills in basic carpentry, plumbing and civils as well as undertaking regular PPM's carried out on all our clients key equipment and fabric so the stores remain safe, legal and looking great.

You will also be required to gain an understanding of how to complete all necessary documentation relevant to site works, both paper and electronic, including method statements, risk assessments and permits and other relevant safety documentation.

Duties & responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Carrying out the planned tasks and targets in line with training goals
  • Acting in accordance with Arcus requirements & policies
  • Ensuring you maintain a safe and healthy work environment
  • Maintaining high levels of attendance at work and / or training
  • Participate in regular reviews when asked to do so
  • Setting stretching targets for personal development

To be successful you'll have:

  • GCSE in English, Maths and Science (grade A-C)
  • Understanding of basic maintenance principles (preferred, but not essential)
  • Driving Licence (preferred, but not essential)
