Summary

About us
A Welsh medium primary school in Cowbridge. 204 pupils. We are looking for an enthusiastic, efficient, organised and kind member of staff to join our team as a midday supervisor. We are a friendly, busy school who want to give our pupils a happy, safe environment in which to enjoy learning and playing, including a positive experience whilst enjoying their lunch times.

About the Role
Post Reference (to be used on application form): YIM-MDS

Pay Details: Grade 2, SCP 3, £12.00 per hour

This position is subject to the Living Wage supplement (agreed from 1st July 2023), which brings pay rates up to £12.00 per hour . This supplement will be reviewed in April 2023 and thereafter annually in April. Vale of Glamorgan Council reserves the right to make any changes to, or removal of, the Living Wage supplement.

Days / Hours per Week: Term time only, 38 weeks a year, Mon-Fri (5 days a week)
1.5 hrs a day - 12p.m-1.30p.m

You will need:
• Excellent communication skills

• Be enthusiastic and patient
• Have excellent timekeeping skills
• A positive attitude towards the Welsh language is essential and the willingness and enthusiasm to learn key phrases would be advantageous.
• The ability to be flexible when working within a team
