Summary

Site Superintendent Vacancy Salary up to £23,836 on NJC scale B1.04-06 depending upon skills and experience Kirkstall St Stephen’s C of E (VA) Primary School is looking to appoint a hands-on, dedicated and self-motivated superintendent, to start as soon as possible for our one form entry Primary School. As Site Superintendent, you will work closely with the School Business Manager and the Head Teacher. You will be responsible for maintaining the high standards across our school. We are looking for someone who enjoys staying busy and has basic skills in plumbing, electrical work, gardening, and general handyman tasks. Organisational skills, a positive outlook, and efficiency are essential for this role. The position is very hands-on, with each day bringing a mix of different tasks. We are looking for someone with the following skills: • Proven experience in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of Health & Safety regulations
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
• Good communication skills
• Proactive and able to work independently
• Friendly and personable
• IT literate with some experience of Microsoft office, emails and property management software would be desirable.Working Hours The hours of work are a split-shift and will consist of 37 hours per week. Split shifts 7am to 11:00am then 2:30pm to 6pm during term time with flexible hours during school holidays as appropriate and agreed in advance. This is an all year-round position (not term time only) with 26 days annual leave (rising to 31 days after 5 years of continuous service) Occasional evening and weekend work will be required or out of hours planned maintenance & school events. This can be arranged as overtime or by shifting the regular hours. The role subject to a six month probationary period, reviewed February 2025

The successful candidate would work with the current superintendent w/c 8th July and then commence the role w/c 15th July
