Summary

Claims Administrator | Islington, London | Full Time | £21,000 to £25,000

In this role you will provide administration support within the Claims and Compliance team to check and validate all contractual evidence in accordance with funding and awarding body frameworks (i.e., ESFA and Ofsted).

Are you the right person for the job?

• Demonstration of excellent customer care and client relationships
• Experience of MS Office: Excel, Word, internet/e-mail and Management Information databases. Knowledge of Aptem or other MI system will be beneficial, but not essential (as training will be provided)
• Demonstration of judgement, tact, flexibility
• Effective planning of work and meeting deadlines
• The ability to provide accurate, well presented written work

What will your role look like?

• Check, validate and upload data to the companies MI system (Aptem) in accordance with funding guidelines and internal processes
• To ensure all claims uploaded to funders adhere to funding criteria to limit any future audit risk
• Check, validate and upload data to funders database in accordance with funding guidelines and internal processes
• To support, guide and train your colleagues in the claims team as a Senior Member of the claims team
• Ensure work is delegated to your colleagues to ensure priorities are met and deadlines adhered to
• To act as a checking and quality control on all contracts by double checking your colleagues work and passing to Claims Manager for sign off
• Provide filing duties following submissions of monthly claims
• Provide administration duties to support internal and external audits
• Work in accordance with the company’s filing operations
• Support the archiving of evidence records in accordance with the company’s processes.
• Monitor claims admin mailbox on a daily basis
• To provide an office supportive role during busy periods and lunch cover – this may involve providing a high level of customer service to clients over the phone and in person
• Have a proactive approach to problem solving with a can do attitude
• Will be required to liaise with senior managers on a regular basis so must be a confident communicator
• Carry out effectively the day-to-day administrative tasks assigned by line manager and divisional head
