Summary


This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Senior Data Analyst within the CHILDS programme, which is at the forefront of clinical-academic research for population health paediatrics. The CHILDS programme aims to improve outcomes and reduce inequalities for children and young people, using advanced data analytics to link and analyse data across providers and sectors to segment the CYP population and identify variation in outcomes and health service usage.

You will support the programme in driving transformation as well as value for money in planning, commissioning and serviceevaluation,through embedding evidence-based population health analysis within the local health system. You will identify innovative uses of NHS data and implement solutions to deliver fresh insights.

The post is fixed term ending March 2025. There may a possibility of extending these fixed term role beyond then.

Management of all elements of data collection, analysis and insights and visualisations to enable project and programme delivery.

Use data analysis to inform research projects, identify patient cohorts, support decision making processes and undertake service evaluations of interventions.

Become an expert in the Trust’s Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system and other clinical records systems, using knowledge of clinical practice and IT to provide advice, analysis, planning, design, development, configuration, testing and insights, and data visualisation.

Work with others in the team across clinical and academic settings, to apply advanced statistical and predictive modelling techniques to build, maintain, and improve on multiple real-time decision systems and, where applicable, help to operationalise the model and evaluate its success.
