Summary

Our Client based in Central London are currently recruiting for an M&E based Facilities Management Officer to join their team as soon as possible.


This is a full time, temporary contract based in Southwark offering Hybrid working and an hourly rate of between £31.45 - £37.75 based on experience (Inside IR35).

The purpose of the role is to report to the FM Manager, overseeing the commercial relationship for the Property Group's key suppliers to ensure the contract requirements are met and the fire stations are adequately maintained to support operational response.

Responsibilities:

Have full and detailed knowledge and understanding of the contracts in place and the responsibilities of both the organisations and the contractors ensuring both are monitored and managed effectively and reflect the organisations policies and procedures as required.

Act as a key liaison point for the organisation for the supply chain contracts providing information, analysis and recommendations as required.

Requirements:

  • IOSH qualification
  • Looking for a qualified electrician.
  • 17/18th edition would be most desirable.
  • An experienced property and facilities management professional proficient with the application of asset and risk management strategies (Essential).
  • Significant experience in M&E engineering and/or building fabric maintenance.
  • Writing papers and briefing notes on identified risks and suggested mitigations.
  • Experience in utilising construction designs, materials, building systems and processes.
  • Leading multi-disciplinary teams and building strong relationships across team/business area/ departmental/ boundaries.
