Role: Head of Digital Asset Management
Location: Hybrid across the UK
We're seeking an exceptional Head of Digital Asset Management to spearhead the oversight and optimisation of our national portfolio of MEP-FS asset register, PPM Plans, and Field surveying services. As a visionary leader, you'll bring a high level of technical expertise, strategic acumen, and a deep understanding of compliance standards and industry best practices to the table.
About the role:
With your expertise, you'll oversee the asset register, implement robust tracking systems, and ensure data integrity across all asset management processes. You'll also drive change management, leveraging your skills to align asset information with strategic plans and regulatory requirements. You'll be responsible for developing and executing PPM plans, leading surveying teams, and monitoring asset performance to inform renewals. Additionally, you'll champion digital transformation initiatives, such as Building Information Modelling (BIM), to enhance capability and support client needs. As a forward-thinking asset management professional with excellent leadership skills, this is an exciting opportunity to make a lasting impact on our organization. You will need to be eager to drive all aspects of asset management, from data management to lifecycle management
Core Details of responsibilities:
-Manage asset register, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date information
-Track asset status and condition using robust systems
-Lead BAU change management process for assets
-Ensure governance and scrutiny of all asset changes
-Maintain and update asset taxonomy to reflect changes in legislation, guidelines, and standards
-Provide data management for end-to-end asset management processes, ensuring data integrity and accuracy
-Lead PPM changes, ensuring supply chain readiness and commercial engagement
Skills required:
We are seeking a highly experienced and qualified individual with a strong background in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Engineering Services, holding a BEng (Hons) degree and a postgraduate qualification in an engineering discipline.
Our ideal candidate will be a member of a recognised Engineering Council body, such as IMechE, and the Institute of Asset Management (IAM).
You will have strong management and stakeholder management skills within the commercial built environment, preferably including FMCG MRO experience
As a proven leader, you'll have managed large-scale asset registers and complex change management processes with ease. You'll also have a deep understanding of MEP-FS systems, compliance standards (BSI, SFG20, BCIS), and ISO 55001/19650. If you're skilled in data stewardship and analytics, with experience in creating smart data reports and dashboards, we want to hear from you!
