School Receptionist required for September 2024 (Part time, 25 hours per week)Salary: NJC Scale 4 (points 7-10) FTE range: £27,855 - £29,139
Pro-rata starting salary at Point 7: £16,617 p.a.We would like to recruit an enthusiastic, engaging and highly motivated School Receptionist to join our happy and supportive office team. Life as part of a school admin team is never dull and it is the team spirit and mutual support that ensures its success. Our admin team work closely and collaboratively with staff across the school to meet the needs of the school community, supporting school events, and ensuring new initiatives are well supported. The successful candidate must be able to multitask, working efficiently and accurately in a busy office environment. The role will suit someone who thrives in a fast-moving and changeable environment and is able to competently prioritise and undertake a variety of short term tasks and longer term projects, whilst being the welcoming and professional face of the school. The working hours for this post are 25 hours per week, from 8.30am until 1.30pm, Monday to Friday. The role is term time only, plus INSET days (39 weeks per annum). Though previous experience in an administrative or receptionist role, particularly in a school environment, would be advantageous, we welcome applicants thinking about changing careers, or starting one in school administration.
