Summary
EPUT is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and passionate Specialty Doctor who will provide consistent, high quality Medical input support to the Adult Community team at Epping Forest SCMHT, based at Rectory Lane, Loughton, Essex.

It is the perfect location for Londoner's looking to move out of the capital and start a family, with well-connected commuter trains and beautiful countryside spots right on your doorstep.
The team provides community services for patient referred to the secondary mental health by GP surgeries within the Neighbourhood localities of West Epping, Loughton, Buckhurst Hill and Chigwell. The team serves an adult population of around 49000.
The post holder will be expected to work independently and provide clinical leadership to the team, through good multi-professional working. The post holder will have shared responsibility for the clinical care of those patients referred to the team and will be expected to work closely with the consultant and team manager to ensure the provision of an effective service to the patients in community.
You should be eligible for full registration with the GMC at time of appointment and hold Section 12 (2) approval under the Mental Health Act 1983. You will also need to provide evidence of achievement of ST1/CT1 competences in psychiatry at time of application and likelihood of achieving CT2 competences in psychiatry by the start date of the post.

• Outpatient clinics for care coordinated and non-care-coordinated patients.

· Ensure that cover is arranged for responsibilities during leave with consultant colleagues within the service.
· Participate in service evaluation and the planning of future service developments.
