You will join a regional provider of affordable housing who are responsible for the day to day and continuous maintenance of over 6000 homes across the Southwest region. Your new role
As a contracts specialist, you will undertake a critical role in overseeing and managing various contracts that support business activity. You will provide oversight and management of contractual agreements, legal and regulatory compliance, contract documentation, quality standards, safe working practices, cost management and timely completion of work.

  • Effective implementation of new contracts.
  • Reviewing contractor management policy.
  • Reviewing contract documents and specifications.
  • Coordinate and lead meetings with contractors and develop a culture of safety.
  • Lead and manage on CDM responsibilities.
  • Manage and monitor contractor performance against agreed KPIs.


What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this position, you will need to possess prior experience in contract management and oversight within the social housing sector, demonstrating a customer-first approach with understanding of health & safety requirements and experience of CDM.

What you'll get in return
In return, you will receive a starting salary of between £47,000 - £49,000 + a wide range of additional employment benefits. In addition, you will have an opportunity to work flexibly in your role, combining work from home with site visits in Devon & Somerset regions.
