Head of Administration & Executive PAFTC 1 year Maternity Cover/Full Time
£49,920 - £54,549Based at St.Albans, with occasional travel to other campusesYou will lead a team of administration professionals to support the needs of the College. Key Duties:Leadership and management of the College Administration departments acting as the focal point for all administrative matters.
Ensure that all key meetings across the College are taking place against the agreed standards and timescales with minutes being created.
Operational oversight and leading the PA/EA team responsible for the administration support for the Senior Leadership Team.
Ensure that sound administrative processes are in place across the College to support key stakeholders.
Oversee assigned budgets to ensure staff are effectively working within their budgets.What We Require:Essential
Experience of working and managing an office team or equivalent environmentAbility to prioritise and organise your team and yourself in a demanding, busy environment and ability to work effectively under pressure and without direct supervision.Confident and clear communicator possessing excellent organisational, verbal and written skills with strong PA experience supporting staff in a senior role.
Extensive knowledge of Microsoft office package and experience of data systems.
Hands on and solution focused with an attention to detail.
Evidence of ability to manage diaries, deal with e-mails and oversee a team and the broader office environment effectively.
Experience of producing reports, statistical data and presentations and proofreading with meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal skills that include patience, tact, understanding and discretion/confidentiality, with both internal and external stakeholders, so good relationships are former.
Desirable
Good standard of education/qualifications (Level 3 or above) or appropriate work experience.What we offer:
