Summary
In addition to the protected non-clinical time the postholder will work a full shift pattern including early, late and night shifts providing 24-hour cover with a 1 in 3 weekend commitment supported by ED consultants directly (0800-2400) and remotely (0000-0800) and a 24-hour consultant delivered trauma service. The shift pattern is new deal compliant with a 1A banding (subject to change to comply with new working practices). The postholder will be allocated a consultant clinical and educational supervisor and opportunities to complete work-based assessments, audit, quality improvement projects and partake in research.
