Summary
Are you an experienced and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist with significant experience of working within trauma and orthopaedic pathways and looking for a new challenge in a leadership position?

At UHBW we are currently seeking applications for a Band 8a Pathway Lead Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist to support integrated trauma and orthopaedic team at the Bristol Royal Infirmary. This is a fixed term post, starting on 1st September 2024 and finishing on 31st August 2025.
The successful candidate will work alongside the Divisional Therapy Lead, fellow Pathway Leads and the T&O Team at UHBW to provide a range of Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy services for patients in Bristol and North Somerset. They will also support the integrated Adult Therapy Service across UHBW as part of the Adult Therapies leadership team. There are lots of opportunity for professional and personal development with support, mentoring and coaching available in addition to a range of other training and resources.
The main aspects of the role are:
• To provide operational and clinical leadership to the T&O pathway at UHBW (Bristol site).
• To work with the trauma and orthopaedic and the musculoskeletal leadership teams, both within UHBW and the wider local system, to support and enable delivery of high quality, patient-centred care. The successful candidate will seek and drive opportunities to continuously improve and develop services. A key part of achieving this will be encouraging staff to develop in their profession (both clinical and leadership skills) and supporting staff wellbeing.
