Our current training programme includes training for students in a variety of ultrasound specialities including obstetrics, gynaecology and general medical ultrasound.

Students are supported by a team of dedicated mentors and a preceptorship programme has recently been implemented to support newly qualified Sonographers to achieve the high standards required by Sonographers at our Trust.

We have a rolling equipment replacement programme which ensures equipment is state of the art. We were recently awarded a “Good” rating from the CQC, with the Imaging Department receiving individual recognition.
