We are looking for a highly motivated Site Manager with strong DIY skills. The successful candidate will work closely with our school leadership team to ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of our school premises.
At Inkersall Spencer Academy we aim to provide a welcoming and stimulating environment that promotes creative learning where individuals can feel confident, valued and secure.
The successful candidate will have high standards and expectations, take pride in their work, be proactive and be able to respond and react to daily demands as well as to be able to plan ahead. They will have a good level of IT, Literacy and Numeracy skills as accurate records need to be kept. An understanding of health and safety and security will be needed or there should be a willingness to learn. A commitment to being a team player who can contribute to a friendly and supportive working environment that we have at our school is essential.
The role will be varied and will include day to day responsibility for maintenance, security, health and safety and the general administration of the school site, its grounds, buildings, facilities and equipment as well as liaising with contractors.
Part of your role will be to oversee the cleaning team and ensure that the school is safe and meets Health and Safety requirements. Other responsibilities include the security of the school grounds and buildings, working with contractors, organising statutory checks and audits, and undertaking some aspects of building repairs and maintenance.
Previous experience is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
