What you'll do

In your new role, you’ll be managing the analysis of complex cross programme requirements, while capturing, validating and documenting business and system requirements and making sure that they are in line with key strategic principles. You’ll help build capability and best practice across our BA community, and foster, manage and maintain a positive working relationship with stakeholders and third-party suppliers across multiple programmes.

You’ll also:

  • Create and maintain documentation, as well as support controls and quality assurance for key stakeholders and suppliers
  • Manage the implementation of approved process improvements
  • Oversee compliance with industry regulations pensions legislation
  • Trace and link business requirements to future state design
  • Facilitate user acceptance testing and support business users in executing the user acceptance testing
  • Own and manage our information model alongside other product team members (This will require a good understanding of information modelling techniques)
  • Support with high level data analysis and calculations using tools such as Microsoft Excel, Python, or SQL
  • Line management of Business Analysts, whilst helping to support the broader Product team

The skills you'll need

You’ll need to hold an appropriate business analyst certification, such as BAX, CPRE and CBAP. Additionally, you’ll have an analytical mindset, with strong research, organisational and prioritisation skills. You’ll be proficient in using JIRA and Confluence, with strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban. A solid understanding of software development, database architecture, APIs and technical concepts is central.

You’ll also need:

  • Experience of applying business analysis tools and techniques
  • A background of delivering business analysis in a technology or IT function
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Must have previous Pensions experience
