As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a Principal Geospatial Analyst to lead the development and delivery of cutting-edge GIS projects—a dynamic and expanding area of our business. You’ll take full ownership of complex geospatial solutions, working alongside multidisciplinary teams and driving technical excellence across every phase of delivery.

The Opportunity

As a Principal Geospatial Analyst, you’ll play a key role in designing and implementing advanced GIS applications and solutions that help our clients make informed decisions and unlock new opportunities. You’ll be at the forefront of integrating GIS technology into complex design and infrastructure projects, delivering robust, scalable, and innovative solutions that meet the highest standards of accuracy and quality.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the delivery of GIS projects, from concept to completion
Collaborate with multidisciplinary design and engineering teams to understand project requirements and deliver tailored geospatial solutions
Design, develop, and implement cutting-edge GIS applications and data management systems
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the GIS team, supporting their learning and development
Integrate GIS with other technologies to enhance functionality and user experience
Ensure the quality, integrity, and accuracy of all GIS data
Contribute to project bids, proposals, and commercial activities, providing expert input and innovative ideas
Keep up to date with the latest GIS technologies, development practices, and industry trends
About You

A degree in GIS, Computer Science, Geology, Geography, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Extensive experience in GIS technology, software development, and project delivery
Proficiency in QGIS, ESRI ArcGIS Pro, ArcEnterprise, and ArcGIS Online (AGOL)
Advanced experience in ETL tools, with FME expertise essential
Strong data management, analysis, and digital mapping skills
Excellent communication and project management skills, with a commercial mindset
Proven experience in bidding for work and preparing fees and proposals
Creative thinker with a proactive, solutions-focused approach
Experience with remote sensing methods and creating 3D models using drone and LiDAR data
Extensive experience in the GIS field, with the ability to manage complex, multi-disciplinary projects
