Summary

Join us as a Marketing Manager within One Bank Mortgages

  • We’ll look to you to help shape and manage the delivery of the Intermediary Mortgage marketing plans, working with a variety of stakeholders across the bank
  • You'll develop a deep understanding of the One Bank Mortgages (OBM) business and help translate business requirements into compelling, customer centric marketing and communications strategies
  • This hands-on marketing role will give you significant visibility across the business and will require close management of delivery timelines, budgets and stakeholder objectives
  • We’re offering this role for a period of six months

What you'll do

As a Marketing Manager, you’ll be delivering B2B marketing collateral and communications to support the mortgage intermediary business and delivery of our commercial goals. You’ll be developing B2B marketing and communications briefs that support OBM’s priorities.

You’ll be representing Marketing in key stakeholder discussions, as well as providing authentic and highly valued leadership communications. You’ll also be managing and tracking campaign budgets, making sure that we reach our targets and track spend accurately.

You’ll also be:

  • Taking responsibility for ensuring delivery against the brief at all stages of the campaign, planning, development, delivery, evaluation, and managing the distribution and sign off processes for your campaigns
  • Developing strong working relationships across OBM, Communications and the broader Marketing function
  • Understanding the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and using insight to optimise future plans
  • Cultivating relationships with key national accounts to support business plans and support our proposition in the mortgage market
  • Delivering website support and content for intermediaries to support the One Bank journey
  • Supporting and delivering intermediary events, ensuring the right marketing for attendance at events, awards, speaker slots and roundtables, and ensuring effective communication, promotion, follow-up and evaluation

The skills you'll need

We're looking for someone with excellent communication and relationship management skills, with experience in a similar B2B marketing role. You'll need strong creative skills, a diligent work ethic, and the desire to make a contribution. You’ll also have a good understanding of financial regulations, conduct and risk and their impact on communications and marketing plans.

Additionally, you’ll need the ability to build relationships and work collaboratively on initiatives that add value and support business priorities. You’ll also need budget management and event planning and management experience, as well as the ability to work in an environment that’s constantly changing with evolving priorities.

You'll also need:

  • Excellent attention to detail, organisational and time management skills
  • Networking, stakeholder management and influencing skills at a senior level
  • Experience of using data, insight, testing and optimisation techniques to get the best outcomes, together with strong evaluation and analytical skills
  • Creative marketing and effective and proficient communication skills
  • To be a good team player who's also able to work independently, managing their time and themselves effectively to deliver on time and to spec
  • Project and campaign management skills
