The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic role, providing comprehensive and confidential administration and secretarial support to meet the progressive service needs of the department in accordance with Trust and National standards, policies and procedures.

As a KPO Administration Assistant you will support the KPO team by providing an efficient administration service and undertaking tasks that support with the delivery of the UHCWi Management system. You will have responsibility to establish and maintain an administrative service that ensures work is prioritised to meet agreed timescales. You will be proficient in using Windows based computer packages in particular Word, Excel, Power Point and MS Outlook.

The post holder will assist the KPO Facilitators, Practitioners and specialists to co-ordinate improvement workshops for value stream work. You will contribute to the continued service improvements of the team and, on occasions, will comment on policies and procedures within the team.

As part of the post we would be keen to ensure we support the successful candidate in their career in the NHS. The successful candidate will responsible:
• To provide an efficient administration service to the Kaizen Promotion Office (KPO) team
• To undertake agreed tasks to support the implementation of the UHCWi Management System.
• For the booking, coordination and correspondence for the UHCWi Management System Training Courses including MS teams invites and booking venues.
• To raise orders for items required for the team such as IT Equipment purchases, Stationary and any other non-stock items.
• To manage the department email account.
• To work on own initiative to ensure that all emails are dealt with, that all urgent correspondence is identified and that papers are brought to the attention of the relevant manager prior to attendance at meetings.
• Undertake preparation of PowerPoint slides, agendas, action notes and minutes.
