Summary

We are currently in search of a driven Junior IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our team through an apprenticeship program and pursue a fulfilling career within a worldwide food manufacturing corporation.

We provide a flexible work schedule where employees divide their time between the office and remote work, supporting our Datacenters and various businesses across locations ranging from New Zealand to California, USA.

As a member of our proficient team, you will play a part in the deployment and progression of state-of-the-art hardware and software systems. This position offers the chance to improve your technical skills within a dynamic and reputable company.

The role will involve
• Supporting user requests using our Service Desk ticketing system
• Providing end users and local IT teams with face-to-face and remote support
• Deployment, configuration, operation and maintenance of hardware and software including workstations, servers and networking equipment
• Computer and Laptop preparation using MS SCCM
• Mobile Device Management of Android and iOS devices using Microsoft Intune
• Active Directory administration of user accounts and permissions
• EntraAD/Office 365 administration of licenses, Exchange mailboxes, SharePoint and Teams
• Maintain Infrastructure applications such as SolarWinds, Cacti & Asset Management
• Further training via an Apprenticeship scheme
Skills:
• Relevant IT Qualification at Level 2 or 3 or able to show passion for a career in IT
• Attention to detail and be able to confidently troubleshoot and resolve a wide range of IT issues
• You should have strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multitask and willingness to learn on the job
• Experience of working in a food manufacturing environment would be beneficial
• You should be able to work as part of team and be able to work under your own initiative
• Keen problem-solving skills
