This is an exciting time for SMG's Archives and Libraries with our new strategy setting out how our collections will be the best in the world in our fields. We are committed to documenting our collections, making them available to more people than ever before and transforming customer service.

To fulfil our ambitions to catalogue our archive collections we are now recruiting an Archive Cataloguer on a permanent contract based at the Science and Industry Museum (SIM) in Manchester. This is a 0.7 FTE role, working 24.5 hours per week on a permanent basis.

About the role

Crucially, you will be organised with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively with the ability to complete tasks with accuracy and a good level of attention to detail.
