Summary

Job Overview:

The Physical and Concept Approvals Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating the approval process of both physical samples and conceptual designs for the apparel company. This role ensures that all products meet the company’s
quality standards, design specifications, and brand guidelines before they proceed to production. The coordinator will work closely with design, product development, and manufacturing teams to facilitate smooth and timely approvals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sample Management:
• Coordinate the receipt, organization, and tracking of physical samples
from suppliers.
• Inspect samples for quality, accuracy, and adherence to design
specifications.
• Document and communicate feedback and necessary revisions to
suppliers and internal teams.
• Maintain a sample library for reference and archiving purposes.
• Concept Approvals:
• Manage the approval process for initial design concepts, ensuring
alignment with brand standards and seasonal themes.
• Organize and facilitate design review meetings, capturing feedback and
decisions from stakeholders.
• Ensure all conceptual designs are documented, approved, and stored
appropriately.
• Communication:
• Serve as the primary liaison between design, product development, and
suppliers regarding sample and concept approvals.
• Provide clear, detailed feedback to suppliers on required changes and
improvements.
• Communicate timelines, deadlines.

Quality Assurance

Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure samples meet
established quality standards.
• Identify potential production issues early in the sample and concept
stages, proposing solutions to mitigate risks.
• Monitor and report on the consistency and reliability of suppliers'
adherence to quality and design specifications.

• Skills:
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects
simultaneously.
• Knowledge of fabric types, garment construction, and quality standards
in apparel production.
