Summary
Job Description
An exciting Recruitment Opportunity has arisen for the position of Team Leader (Assessment and Review Team) within Care Services in Glasgow. The Care at Home Service is a fast paced environment providing support to over 5000 service users.
Reporting directly to the Service Manager (Assessment Team), you will be responsible for the management of a team of Social Care Workers to ensure that statutory home care assessments are carried out timeously, ensuring service users’ needs are met within the community whilst maximising independence. You will also be required to achieve performance targets in relation to financial and non-financial areas of work and contribute to the development of strategy and planning including the implementation of service developments within the Care at Home service.
Applicants must have leadership and managerial experience, together with sound financial management knowledge, I.T. skills and be able to prepare reports and management information. In addition, applicants must have experience of partnership working with internal and external agencies, together with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and an ability to confidently represent Social Work as and when required.
Membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme will be essential on taking up appointment along with SSSC Registration. Please note successful candidates for the above position will be required to pay for their PVG Membership/or Scheme Checks.
