Summary
Full-time 34.75 – 40 hrs per week (no personal care)

We are seeking:
A dedicated and proactive support worker personal assistant (PA) who has obtained
degree-level qualifications in psychology, occupational therapy, or health, social
care, SEN, and/or arts-related subjects, such as fine art, games, and/or digital design,
or art history.
Any previous knowledge or experience of autism would be an advantage.
The Role:
Supporting the holistic therapeutic care delivery under the guidance of the clinical
team, and generally supporting the client with his art-based opportunities and
creative projects.
Befriending - you will provide vital social interaction opportunities for the client
Domestic work including household cleaning to maintain the home in a clean and
tidy condition.
Administrative activities associated with the smooth running of the service.
You will have an aptitude for and dedication to providing person-centred care at all
times, incorporating this ideal into every decision you make for the client.
Essential qualities:

Reliable and organised with good Ɵmekeeping
PaƟent and sensiƟve with excellent interpersonal
skills
Excellent verbal and wriƩen communicaƟon skills
Fluency in spoken English and proficiency in written English, to support the client in
their creative writing projects and correspondence, is essential together with a good
typing ability. Scribing for the client is vital to this role.

understanding of autism, including sensory processing issues, Pathological Demand
Avoidance (PDA), and other clinical needs, working closely with the team’s Occupational
Therapist and Clinical Psychologist.
All successful candidates will be subject to an enhanced DBS/PVG check and regulated
activity, which will include a check against the barred adult list.
