The Role

A day in the life of our F&B Manager needs heaps of energy and consistency even though the days are never alike; and creativity to tackle daily adventures. Working with an amazing team, you will be responsible for the smooth running of all elements of Meetings & Events operations within the hotel, including overseeing the Breakfast Manager and In Room Dining areas. This role will also be the main liaison between the sales team events operations team, and great communication skills are a must. Engaging with clients and encouraging future business and promotion of the Cumberland's M&E spaces will be essential to the success of this role. You will have ultimate responsibility for recruitment, training and development of the team and will have accountability for engagement in your department. You will be working to budgets and will be expected to plan and forecast future sales and revenue, while keeping your eye on future trends and opportunities, as well as working with our F&B Director to ensure our colleague experience is inclusive, productive, and engaging.
