Summary
1. To be responsible for the equipment used in carrying out physiotherapyduties, and to adhere to departmental equipment policy and ClinicalNegligence Scheme for Trusts CNST) standard. To ensure the safe use ofequipment and reporting of faults by self and others including patients, carers and other health professionals2. To ensure competence, through teaching and appraisal, of all staff within the MSK outpatient team in the use of equipment used in carrying out physiotherapy duties.3. To comply with and ensure implementation of all Trust policies and procedures and the Health and Safety at Work Act, including adherence to universal precautions and infection control measures.4. To request authorisation for the purchase of physical assets and supplies for the physiotherapy outpatient department.5. To be responsible as a signatory for agency time sheets.
