About the role
The Faculty of Service Industries is looking for a motivated and experienced Early Years tutor to join their Health and Care provision. This is a hugely rewarding role and involves delivery of Early Years qualifications with a focus on Level 3 T level In Education and Early Years. You will be responsible for the planning, preparation, delivery and assessment of our qualifications to ensure an exceptional learning experience for our students, promoting learner success and progression. Other duties will include:
Producing high standard planning documentation such as curriculum design plans and SOW
Using a range of systems to monitor students progress, including exams and ESP for T Levels
Organising meetings with parents, NOK, or other stakeholders as necessary including placement providers
Possible observations in placement settings
Taking part in Open Events, Taster Days etc to support recruitment
Increasing employer engagement within the area
Planning and taking part in enrichment opportunities such as trips and visits
Safeguarding responsibilities
About the person
The successful candidate will need to have an Early Years background and the skills and qualifications below:
A relevant Level 3 or equivalent in curriculum area
Degree or equivalent professional/vocational qualification
Level 2 /GCSE English and Maths
Teaching Qualification – Cert Ed/PGCE Qualified to national standards for assessors or willingness to achieve.
Professional development and an awareness of current curriculum and sector developments with focus on T Level in Education and Early Years
