Wiltshire Employment Support Team empower individuals to find meaningful employment, promoting community inclusion and economic participation while reducing dependence on support services. Supporting young people and adults to move into work. We’re dedicated to promoting diversity in the workforce by collaborating closely with local employers.
As an Employment Coordinator, you'll be at the forefront of transforming lives. You'll guide individuals with SEN and disabilities to secure and maintain paid employment, delivering supported employment outcomes to young people and adults across the county. Teaming up with Wiltshire College, you'll mentor interns through working interviews for young people with SEND. And through building strong bonds with local employers, you'll help create a wealth of job opportunities in our community.
We're seeking dynamic individuals with the essential qualifications and skills, who are also comfortable with working beyond the typical 9-5 day, including weekends. You will have good communication and organisational skills, and the confidence to liaise with businesses throughout Wiltshire. This is a multi-faceted role that will provide you with new experiences every day. If you are self-motivated, driven, overcome difficulties in a positive light and thrive on challenge then this may be the job for you!
If you're up to date on relevant legislation, experienced in supporting autistic spectrum conditions, special educational needs or learning disabilities have strong communication skills, champion equal opportunities, and are passionate about safeguarding vulnerable individuals, we want to hear from you!
We have several job coach roles available as we are expanding our team offer (each role has a different area of focus; Supported Employment in the traditional sense, apprenticeship specific, and skills for work. Each one with a strong focus of working with our local Wiltshire employers)
