Summary
Redbridge Children Services are in search of a dynamic Assistant Director for their Community Children services which cover our Health Visiting & School Nursing (0-19 services), Specialist Targeted services as well as our Community Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS).

-To build effective partnerships with ICB , Local Authorities, Acute Care Trusts and Voluntary
-To set and review objectives, in the context of strategic developments, within the Services
-To work in partnership with patients and carers working towards the highest standards
-To hold budgetary and line management responsibilities and accountability relating to all service areas
-To promote ways in which services can project a more positive and socially inclusive view of health and social care;
-To engage fully across all areas of business focusing on
improving the physical and mental health of all serving populations
-To ensure a culture where staff, patients, the public and carers are involved in the decision making processes of services and in the wider context is maintained;
-To participate in all discussions and decision-making processes that relate to the strategic plans, liaising closely with, and ensuring these augment with those of other areas within the
NELFT.
Probationary Period
This post will be subject to a probationary period. Internal applicants are exempt from the probationary period (unless you are an internal applicant currently part way through a probationary period or currently a bank member of staff).
High-Cost Area Supplement
This post also attracts payment for High-Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary (minimum payment of £4,313 and a maximum payment of £5,436) pro rata for part time staff.

Starting with NELFT
NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop-in sessions focusing on engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex.
