Description

General Dynamics Land Systems is on the look-out for a full-time Foxhound Technical Authority to join our established Engineering team. The successful and inclusive candidate will earn a favourable salary of £55,000 to £69,000 based on experience and potential. This is an ideal role for someone who has a proactive and positive mindset and a keen desire to grow professionally. Joining an established team, you will work across a range of stakeholders to support business requirement for Foxhound upgrades to enter production, for example, facilitate design completion, EBOM release to allow MBOM creation. If you were already working in this position, this is what you would have been working on this week:
  • Coordination of release and maintenance of the EBOM / CAD
  • Responsible for prototypes and readiness to enter trials
  • Coordination of engineering tasks related to variant design / issues resolution / DRACAS sentencing
  • Point of contact between engineering and all other internal departments
  • Liaison with key suppliers for technical issues resolution / change embodiment
Supporting the design / production process during the project lifecycle Preparation of material for internal and external reviews Effectively communicate updates to the Engineering Management team To apply for this role, you will require the following:
