Summary
Your New role
At National Highways (NH) we’re looking for a Senior Asset Data and Intelligence Analyst to join our team in the South West as part of our Operations directorate based at either our Bristol or Exeter office..
You will monitor, maintain, and identify improvements to the asset databases. Also, liaising with the P&D, Scheme Delivery and Service Delivery teams to ensure that data is provided in a suitable format that meets requirements to support the assessment of needs, make investment decisions and maintenance activities. You will also support the Asset Data & Intelligence Manager in the effective use of resource and management of workload.
What you’ll be leading on
Ensure the NH asset databases (including Confirm) are managed and maintained in line with current guidance and standards (ADMM, DMRB, Etc.) Undertake gap analysis and implement remedial measures.
Manage and monitor asset inventory and survey updates, liaison with relevant teams to ensure timely submission of mandatory documentation to meet ADMM requirements.
Assist the Service Delivery Team in M&R performance reporting by providing data in a suitable format, including production of dashboards, mapping, etc.
Assist the Engineering Teams in the identification and evaluation of asset needs and scheme prioritisation by providing data in a suitable format, including production of dashboards, mapping, etc.
Support the Asset Data Analysis & Intelligence Manager and liaise with the Engineering Team Managers in the production of the Maintenance Requirements Plan.
Co-ordinate the responses to asset data requests including third parties and customers. Ensuring information is provided in a suitable format and to required timescales.
Support the development of the South West Asset Data Improvement Plan and lead the “Getting Asset Data Right” initiative to achieve the goal of “100% correct Asset Data”
To be Successful
Degree or HND in relevant discipline with appropriate experience, or equivalent
Understanding of National Highways asset databases
Working knowledge of relevant asset management documentation
Ability to manage/work effectively with others in an office environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Especially Excel) with experience of GIS applications (e.g.ESRI ArcGIS and QGIS) preferred.
