We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Pharmacy Team based at Venture house in Erdington as a Pharmacy Assistant Technical Officer. This post could open up a great career path for any interested Individual. Candidates would be required to have a qualification in pharmacy services at level 2 or be willing to complete the relevant qualification. Once the post holder has gained adequate experience and completion of the relevant qualification has been achieved, you could develop further and apply for a band 3 Pharmacy Assistant post, or alternatively apply for student Pharmacy Technician Apprenticeship subject to meeting the essential criteria for these posts.
Join us and you will gain experience in Pharmacy Stores carrying out various duties which are essential for the smooth running of the department.
These duties include:
• Undertaking general reception duties.
• Understanding and using the Prescription Tracking System.
• Receive goods from external suppliers.
• Maintaining good stock levels in the Pharmacy.
• Participating in ward top-up services once trained.
• Facilitate transportation of all requests from wards and teams.
