Summary

We are seeking a talented Team Coordinator to work in our Business Rates administration team. In this role, you will be responsible for motivating and guiding a team of revenue and visiting officers to achieve excellence in service delivery. You will be able to demonstrate good interpersonal skills, respect others, have empathy, be a good problem solver. You will be positive and adaptable to deliver the key challenges we face around driving performance, fostering growth, and ensuring the highest standards of customer service. Key Responsibilities:

- Lead, motivate and support a team of revenue and visiting officers to achieve exceptional performance.
- Instil within the Team a culture of high performance, quality standards and a customer-first mindset.
- Provide training, support, and supervision to staff, developing and nurturing their skills and maximizing their potential.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of Business Rates administration, be proactive in learning of new legislation or guidance when required.
- Effectively communicating with internal departments and external agencies to resolve issues.
- Allocate work efficiently, providing guidance on the interpretation of regulations and legislation to meet ambitious collection targets.

Requirements:

- Demonstrable experience in leading and coordinating relevant services, with a track record of supervising, supporting, and monitoring staff effectively.
- Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with the ability to foster collaborative working relationships both internally and externally.
- Commitment to excellence, with a proactive attitude towards delivering outstanding services in challenging circumstances and tight timeframes.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
- In-depth knowledge of Business Rates administration and the ability to navigate regulatory frameworks confidently.
