Summary
A Vacancy at London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust.
The role sitswithin OccupationalHealth &StaffWellbeingPsychology (OHSWP)andprovides leadership to the Staff Support Service. The Staff Support Service is a substantive component of the overall Service and will include significant clinical, service development and leadership functions.
Therewillbeacloseworkingrelationshipwiththe OHSWPConsultantPractitionerPsychologist who will ensure that the Staff Support Service is well integrated into the wider provision.
Specifically,thepostholderwillberequiredto:
· Ensurethesystematicprovisionofahigh-qualityStaffSupportServicethatincludes clinical assessment, intervention and appropriate signposting.
· Provideleadershipandundertakeappropriatemanagerialandsupervisoryduties.
· Draft, propose and implement policy and service development changes, in consultation with Lead Psychologist.
· Work closely with colleagues in the Trust’s Health and Wellbeing team to develop and deliver interventions addressing psychosocial themes.
· Collaborateinthedeliveryofmultilevelpsychosocialinterventionsthatsupportand empower staff.
· Ensure that structural and systemic understandings of staff wellbeing are appropriatelyrepresented.
· WorkwithcolleaguesoutsideofLNWHtocontributetosector-widedevelopmentsin Health and Wellbeing.
1. To provide highly skilled psychological consultation, including assessment, formulation, intervention and signposting to members of staff referred to Occupational Health Department.
2. To provide skilled consultation with managers and leads from divisions within LNWH Trust in regard to staff mental health and wellbeing issues and collaborate in generating bespoke interventions.
3. To provide skilled advice to colleagues in relation to the implementation of the Post-Event Team Reflection pathway and to be part of the team which facilitates such Reflection sessions.
4. To work closely with multi-disciplinary colleagues in Occupational Health, providing consultation and advice regarding mental health aspects of cases referred to the department, including providing skilled advice on managing risk issues.
5. To provide supervision and/or support to junior staff and/or trainee psychologists as appropriate.
