Summary


Early Years Childcare Assistant Practitioner. Level 2.

We are looking for an "Outstanding" Childcare Practitioner to join our friendly team at the Charing Cross Day Nursery. The nursery is registered for 50 children between the ages 6 months to 5 years and opens from 7.15am - 6.00pm daily, 52 weeks of the year.

The trust is dedicated to improving health outcomes by delivering the highest quality integrated healthcare, research, and service provision.

The Trust provides a Day Nursery at the Charing Cross Hospital; this is mainly used by the staff but is also available to the general public and the local community. The Charing Cross Day Nursery site is managed by the Resourcing Service of the Directorate of People & OD.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking, dedicated Assistant Childcare Practitioner to join our team for a substantive contract.

A thorough and competent knowledge of children’s developmental and emotional needs and the ability to transfer this into practice.

Awareness of Health and Safety within their job role, proven ability to maintain a high standard of health and safety at all times.

Effective knowledge of the EYFS, child observation skills, and the ability to develop and nurture children according to their individual requirements Skills and Abilities

Ability to record and pass on information accurately, effectively, and concisely between management, staff, parents, and children.

Ability to accept instructions and commitment to personal development.

Ability to co-operate with others both formally and informally and to work as part of a team member.
